The Aulson Company, Inc. provides roofing, carpentry, restoration, abatement, hazardous paint removal, painting, industrial flooring and protective coating services for public and private residential and commercial facilities, and for steel structures. The Aulson Company performs at high-level with all applicable federal, state and local requirements, and in accordance with all specifications.

The Aulson Company, Inc’s health and safety programs are implemented and enforced by each site supervisor, field manager and operations manager. Safety is given the highest priority on every project.

Management has developed and fully supports its Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs. These programs are required to be implemented by all personnel directly involved in all phases of each operation.

A veteran construction professional with over 50 years of experience in industrial, commercial and residential construction including coatings removal and application, lead paint abatement, asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, demolition, concrete repair, historic restoration, roofing, and window and siding installation, Alan formed The Aulson Company, Inc. in 1990. Alan is a service connected disabled veteran, and The Aulson Company, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. With a hands-on approach Alan and his management team have continued to grow The Aulson Company, Inc. into one of New England’s premier specialty contractors. Alan is intricately involved in every project. Working as a sub or general contractor on your project, Alan and his team will be there for you throughout the process.

A seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of experience Alan Aulson Jr. (AJ) has been working in construction since the early 90’s. AJ first started in construction working for his father Alan Sr., learning about, working on and eventually managing construction projects that ranged from $2,500 to $10mil. As of January 1st, 2024, AJ has assumed the role of President of The Aulson Company, Inc. With a hands-on approach AJ and Aulson’s management team are poised for continued growth in the New England Market and maintaining Aulson’s status as one of New England’s premier specialty contractors. Whether working as a sub or general contractor on your project, AJ and his team will be there for you throughout the process.

James first started performing asbestos abatement 30 years ago. James started as a worker where he learned the valuable lessons needed to become a young Supervisor, progress to a Project Manager and now a Vice President at Aulson. He manages Aulson’s Asbestos division, working closely with customers to ensure the successful completion of all the ongoing abatement projects. James has succeeded on the completion of various high-profile projects. James’s division manages multiple projects in primarily the private commercial sector. Aulson offers participation as both a Self-Performing Prime Contractor and Subcontractor with authorities, various management companies and many local cities and towns. James has grown with the industry and Aulson over the last 23 years to become a Key Team Member in the Aulson Organization.

George, having over 35 years of experience in the industry, has worked with Aulson since 2016 and is currently the Vice President of the Demolition division. George has successfully worked at all levels of the demolition industry from the field to estimating/ project management & now senior management. George manages the Demolition division of Aulson overseeing the estimating, project management of staff, as well as, field operations, in addition to handling his long-time clients personally. His experience in all types & sizes of demolition projects and using a team first mentality allows the Demolition division to perform multiple size and scope projects simultaneously while working for both public & private clients.

Chad is Aulson’s Vice President of Sales, Estimating and Project Management. He has over 20 years of construction experience going back to the 1990’s when Chad worked in the field on construction jobsites at Aulson. Chad is a LEED® Accredited Professional who has managed some of Aulson’s largest and most notable projects with great success. Chad has succeeded on project deployment at various high profile projects including two phases of the US Capitol Building, Dome Restoration in Washington DC and the South Helix House Exterior Restoration at the US Navy Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station in Cutler, ME. Chad manages multiple projects in primarily the Public/Government Sector where Aulson offers participation as both a Self-Performing Prime Contractor and Subcontractor with authorities such as DoD-USACE, MassDOT, MWRA, MBTA, MassPORT, and municipalities including many local cities and towns.

Altin “Chris” Pocoli moved to the United States from Albania in the early 90’s with a Mater’s Degree in Civil and Construction Engineering. Chris has been in the construction field for 30 years and is Aulson’s Chief Estimator. He has estimated, and upon successful award assisted with the management of projects ranging from small up to $2million. Chris’s extensive construction experience, knowledge and attention to detail are brought to all the projects he works on and will be apparent throughout the process.
