The Aulson Company, Inc. - COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

Our Company is committed to maintaining the highest occupational safety and health standards; there is no phase of operations and administration that is of greater importance. This is both a moral obligation and a sound business practice. We place the responsibility for workplace safety and health at all levels of management and on each employee. To accomplish this goal it is necessary to provide leadership and support in order to develop and maintain:

  • SAFETY AND HEALTH - The Aulson Company, Inc. is forever striving for an incident free workplace, where Supervisors and Workers use the techniques of recognition, avoidance and removal aiming at preventing and eliminating safety and health hazards in the workplace. Aulson’s focus on Employer and Worker responsibilities in Construction Hazard Recognition and Mitigation creates an opportunity for Our Teams to lead cultural change in the promotion of safe work practices.
  • COMMITMENT - The Aulson Company, Inc. remains commitment to providing a workplace free from recognized hazards by supporting, both Supervisor and Worker recognition and mitigation procedures and Management strategies to eliminate hazards that confront them and their fellow workers. Aulson continues to meet all federal, state, and local safety and health regulations and Industry-Standard safe work practices.
  • AWARENESS & ATTITUDE - The Aulson Company, Inc. promotes a team approach through leadership and role modeling with an attitude to encourage the elimination of unsafe work practices and the incorporation of safety and health awareness and risk reduction. Aulson Jobsites consistently execute Daily Tool-Box Safety Meetings, Plan Task Assignments, Review the Job Hazard Analysis, and provide for the implementation of Engineering Controls, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment specific to each Operation.

The success of Aulson’s Safety and Health Program requires the combined efforts of management, supervision, and employees. We want our operations to be among the safest in our industry. Achieved only when every person contributes to this team effort.

Daily “toolbox” safety meetings are conducted by the site supervisor or Aulson safety staff to ensure ongoing commitment to a safe workplace.

The Aulson Company's health and safety policies and procedures are designed to provide hazard evaluation and risk assessment, to allow for the implementation of Engineering Controls and Work Practices to best eliminate or isolate the hazards identified, while supporting the selection and use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) for each Task and Unique Project Conditions.
